Crusin’ for a Cure — Orange County Fairgrounds — Costa Mesa, CA

Through a Meet UP group, that I belong to, I organized a photo shoot — well, not a formal meeting — more like just show u and shoot. On display, were over 3400 custom, classic, and late model, hot rods and trucks as well as over 20,000 spectators in the biggest one day charity car show. The purpose was to support prostate cancer research. Men where able to receive free prostate cancer screening.

When I was in college, I had q 1961 Chevy Impala convertible — definitely one of the coolest cars on campus :-), and I was only a freshman. I don’t often see more than one or two, at a car show, but, today, there where several.

If you’ve read this blog for any length of time, you probably know that I am often more interested in the people watching an event, than the event itself. Here are some of the attendees.
